1) How exactly do I locate a photo or a video file on my computer?
When you click the "browse" or "choose file" button on the submission form, you're going to direct us to where your photo or video is saved on your computer. It's probably in a folder somewhere. We just need you to help us find it. It's just like the process you have to go through when you add an attachment to an e-mail.
2) What kind of files or file formats can I upload?
Photos: If your photos came from your digital camera, they're probably .JPG files. Those are perfect. Other acceptable file formats are .TIF, .PICT and .BMP.

Videos: Most file formats from camcorders, digital cameras and cell phones are acceptable: .WMV, .AVI, .MOV and .MPG.
3) How do I know if my picture or video uploaded?
Once you locate the file, we'll know where it is. After you click the "submit" button at the end of the submission form, it'll take a moment for everything to process, depending on how big your file is. But once everything is processed, you'll get a "thank you for submitting" message from us. And when you see that, you're golden!
4) Why is my submission taking so long to process?
Depending on your connection speed and the size of the file (especially videos) you uploaded, your submission can take anywhere from a couple minutes to a couple hours. If you have a high-speed connection, your file should take 1-5 minutes per MB to upload. So a 20MB video could take 20 minutes to over an hour. But, it could be faster. These things vary for users. But if it's been over 24 hours, we recommend canceling and checking the size of your file or length of your video before trying again.
