This hotel is more than a hotel and the sweetest of suites. First, I must describe my background and the circumstances under which I have become acquainted with Homewood Suites. Secondly, I will outline the characteristics that make Homewood Suites a home to me. Finally, I have to tell you my favorite Homewood story.
I’m 28 yrs old with a birthday coming soon. I recently graduated college from the University of Arkansas, where I was born and raised, so I am used to a simple life and living. I got a job in military defense which takes me all over the country. Our administrative assistant always books us into Homewood Suites whenever available. So in the past 2 months, I have spent a lot of time at Homewood.
Homewood makes me feel welcome, comfortable, and want for nothing. There is always something different for breakfast and delicious for dinner. The staff is always courteous and very polite. The management is always concerned for my well being and pleasant stay. No matter if I am in the mountains, a jungle, or a desert working, I always find myself telling my co-workers that I can’t wait to get home, which is what Homewood feels like. This place embodies the very quality characteristics that I would expect to find at home.
Now, today was a particularly difficult day. I get up at 5 a.m. and commute for an hour and a half to a deserted test range. We had some technical difficulties under deadline with the big boss on site. It got up to another blistering 115 degrees outside, where I spent most of my day. Our course was corrected and we completed our tests just in the nick of time. When I got home today, supper was ready and the faces were smiling. It was like I just escaped the clutches of horror and feel exhausted for doing it. I thought that was the end of it until I got to my room. I walked through the door to find a clean room, fresh towels, and a note from Elsa wishing me a wonderful day.
The day may not always start out the best, but when staying at Homewood Suites it sure does have an outstanding finish. That is why this hotel feels just like a home to me. Of all the hotels that I have stayed at over the entirety of my life, I truly feel like Homewood is my favorite.
