We left Houston to come home to Atlanta. There was an accident in Beaumont, TX and the road was closed for about three hours, it was hot, the car was over heating. Neither of us were happy. Finally got on the road and I think it was Slidel , LA and I was driving and drove right up to the Homewood Suites, checked in got a key and went to bed. He thought I was going to the bathroom. Eventually he came in looking for me and the man at the desk said. She said you would be looking for her. She said she was tired and to tell you she went to bed. He came to the room and got in bed and was probably asleep before I was. Never argued about spending the money and said he was glad I did it the next morning. Air conditioning, great bed-great nights sleep.
