Checked into a newly open Homewood Suites in Fresno, CA. The check in clerk failed to tell me that there was no water at the hotel. A waterline had apparently broken and it would be an hour before it would be fixed. Here is the problem, it was about 90 degrees in Fresno that day. My family had just spent one hour walking around at a outside mall. My wife was scheduled to give a presentation to a group of Doctors within the hour. She was not in the best of moods. You know the old saying " if mama aint happy nobodys happy". To make a long story short the manager arranged for my wife to go to a near by hotel to shower... It all came out in the wash. My wifes presentation went off without a hitch. Homewood Suites came through for us!
