I was bummed when I learned I’d have to be on the road during my first wedding anniversary and lamented to my husband about the awful timing of this business trip for weeks. But to my delight, he was in cahoots with Homewood the entire time. On the evening of my anniversary I returned to my suite after a long day of site visits to find a dozen long-stem roses, a hand written note from my husband and the song from our first dance playing on the alarm clock MP3 player. Now I knew why the staff at the reception desk had big smirks on their face when I walked in that night!
